Buffalo Rock Company
Buffalo Rock's bottling operations rock around the clock. The innovative Pepsi bottler distributes soft drinks for others such as Cadbury Schweppes , Dr Pepper, and Mountain Valley, as well as its own brands. It is credited with several industry firsts including three-liter plastic bottles and 12- and 20-ounce plastic bottles. The bottler has 13 distribution facilities serving folks in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The company also operates food vending and catering services. Grocer Sidney Lee joined the beverage business in the late 1800s by making the ginger ale that gave the company its name. His descendants continue to run the company. Buffalo Rock began bottling Pepsi products in the 1950s.
