The Wada folks have heard absolutely all the Mr. Potato Head jokes known to mankind; still, they press resolutely on, growing, packaging, and supplying Idaho potatoes. And, in addition to everyone's favorite starchy tuber, Wada Farms Marketing Group also grows onions. Headquartered in Idaho, Wada Farms operates more than 1,000 acres of farmland and a 140,000-sq.-ft. processing facility. In 2006 the company combined operations with Profresh, which holds the marketing rights for all potato and onion products packed under the Dole label.
