The Ingalls family could have used an Ingles market near its little house on the prairie. Ingles Markets operates nearly 200 supermarkets, primarily in suburbs, small towns, and rural areas of the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. The stores largely operate under the Ingles name; several operate as Sav-Mor. In addition to brand-name products, Ingles has Laura Lynn and Ingles Best private labels. It owns a milk, fruit juice, and bottled water plant that supplies about 80% of its milk and sells its excess to other retailers and distributors. It also owns 74 shopping centers, three-quarters of which contain an Ingles store. Founder and CEO Robert Ingle controls some 87% of the company's voting shares.

L&M Companies, Inc.
L&M Companies says leave the meat at home and dig in to some veggies! The company supplies fresh fruits and vegetables under the Nature's Delight label. It maintains a network of some 15 distribution locations nationwide and sells produce grown throughout the US, as well as imported items from Central and South America.
